Books of the Week!!

This week we have 2 books of the week. Little People, Big Dreams: Mahatma Ghandi by Maria Isabel Sanchez and Bear Can't Wait by Karma Wilson. Little People, Big Dreams is a new one that we recently got into the library. It is part of a fantastic series of books that highlight the lives of some really important people throughout history. We learned that Gandhi was famous for being a great civil rights leader in his home country of India and was one of the first leaders to enact great change through peaceful protest.

Our younger students enjoyed reading Bear Can't Wait; a story about a loving but impatient bear who has trouble waiting for his friends birthday party to start. All of our friends could relate to how hard being patient can be sometimes. Both of these titles are new in the library. Please come by and check out more of our wonderful new titles.
