I love both the above quotes about the power of volunteering because together we truly can achieve great things. I'm so grateful to all the students that answered the call and showed interest in working in the schools library. I'm happy to announce that the library has hired 3 volunteers to help out in their free time. They are Yiyi Zhou in 11th grade, Carter Chapin in 8th grade and Juniper Pipski in 7th grade. They will help with shelving books, check ins and checkouts, bulletin boards, book fairs and other important library work. I am so happy to have these guys who will definitely help me to keep both libraries running smoothly. Drop by and say hi to them and feel free to thank them for their service.
