Celebrating Halloween has certainly been a fun and lively time here in the Pilgrim library. We read spooky stories, learned about the Day of the Dead, and had ourselves a good scare. We wrapped up our fun filled week by making spoooooky monster origami bookmarks. We learned a little about origami which is the art of folding paper often associated with the Japanese culture. From the toddlers to 5th grade everyone got in on the fun. We took the opportunity to practice our skills like patience, listening to instructions and following directions. Check out some of the cool new book buddies we made.
What a spooktacular week!!!
